General Policy
At Budhha Beats Digital, we strive to provide high-quality digital music distribution services. All services provided by Budhha Beats Digital are digital and service-based in nature. Payments once processed through our payment gateway are used strictly for registered business services only.
As a general rule, there are no returns or refunds on the digital services offered by us, except under the specific conditions outlined below.
Eligible Refund Scenarios
Refunds may be applicable in the following specific cases:
- Quality Check (QC) Failure: If your uploaded song does not pass our mandatory Quality Check test. In such cases, you will be notified via your dashboard/email, and the amount will be automatically refunded to you within 7-8 business days.
- Status-Based Requests: A refund can be requested via email (budhhabeats.in@gmail.com) only while your song status is "Processing", "QC Pending", or "QC Approved". Once the status changes to "Completed", we are unable to offer a refund as the distribution process has been finalized.
- Distribution Delay: We will provide a full refund if your song is not LIVE on any digital platform within 15 days of a successful and approved upload.
- Company-Initiated Takedown: We will issue a refund if we choose to take down your song from our system for internal administrative reasons (not related to policy violations).
- Service Defects: Refunds are offered if there are verifiable technical defects in the service provided. Please note that there are no refunds on subscriptions that have already concluded.
Non-Refundable Scenarios
We will NOT issue a refund in the following cases:
- Uploader-Initiated Takedown: If a takedown is forced or requested by the uploader after the song has gone live.
- Rights Infringement: If your content is taken down by a third party or digital service provider due to copyright infringement or violation of intellectual property rights.
- Unauthorized Content: Takedowns resulting from the upload of unauthorized material, cover songs, or AI-generated music.
- Cover & AI Song Submissions: Budhha Beats Digital does not distribute cover songs or AI-generated music. If you submit such content, the upload will be rejected and the order will be cancelled with no refund.
- User Misconduct: Any form of misbehavior or the use of inappropriate language towards our staff or platform.
- Subscription Expiry: Any refund requests made after 1 month of a subscription's conclusion.
- CRBT Non-Compliance: As per the strict content guidelines from Atlantis CRBT, certain types of content are considered non-compliant and will not go live. These include:
- Content containing brand names or advertisements
- Prank or political content
- Corporate songs or IVRS tones
- National Anthems or Current Affairs commentary
- Objectionable language or controversial social/political topics (e.g., Delhi Farmers Protest)
